Summary:
The Team Lead is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Rides Department, including safety, cleanliness, guest service and staffing.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities Serves as the Rides Supervisor on Duty during their shift, oversees Ride Attendants, Rides Lead and Wheel Operator daily.
Conducts shift meetings with Rides staff.
Informs staff of daily events, groups, specials, sales goals and operational opportunities.
Reviews employee time sheets and makes necessary corrections on a daily basis.
Checks email regularly and communicates necessary information to Rides staff.
Ensures proper staffing in all areas.
Assists Rides Lead with daily break plan and ensures appropriate breaks are taken by all Ride Attendants.
Communicates with Tickets staff as to when rides are open or closed.
Maintains operational, safety, cleanliness, and guest service standards at all times.
Ensures all SMOWI handbook policies and procedures are followed by all Rides staff.
Implements all Standard Operating Procedures.
Interacts with guests to ensure the Rides Department is operating at the highest of standards.
Resolves guest complaints.
Monitors the queue line(s) of all rides and makes necessary staff adjustments.
Ensures staff and guests follow protocol while loading and unloading rides.
Enforces ride restrictions and recommendations to ensure safe operation of the ride.
Does not allow personal electronic devices into the ride control area.
Communicates any safety hazards or mechanical issues to the Operations Manager and Maintenance staff.
Ensures equipment is tested daily, opening and closing procedures and checklists are followed and daily logs are accounted for and in proper location.
Responsible for cleaning checklist for each ride.
Ensures they are completed properly and filed at the completion of each shift/week.
Assists Ride Trainer in training new hires.
Follows all SMOWI handbook policies.
Serves as a role model for all SMOWI employees.
Other duties, as assigned.

Education & Experience Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Basic computer skills.
