As Director of Housekeeping, you will be responsible for directing and administering all housekeeping operations to ensure the overall cleanliness of our vacation rentals and our continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.
The Director of Housekeeping also acts as a liaison between the housekeeping department and other departments within the company.
Qualifications:
A commitment to operational goals balanced with a passion for building a team.
Previous housekeeping management experience in the hospitality industry is required, preferably in the vacation rental space.
Knowledge of various property care software is desired as well as Excel, Google Sheets, and Word.
Ability to effectively lead and motivate with clear communication in a positive manner.
Ability to manage multiple tasks while staying detail oriented.
Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of the cleanliness and quality standards of rental properties.
Ensure you are appropriately staffed and working efficiently with available resources.
Anticipate workflow and appropriately delegate tasks.
Accountable for the performance of the housekeeping partners.
Manage all turnovers to ensure scheduling is accurate.
Recruit, hire and train new cleaning partners as needed.
Spot-check property readiness & usability.
Develop and implement an SOP associated with cleaning and staging.
